September 27, 2016

Dental and vision insurer Solstice Benefits (Solstice) was named a Hermes Creative Award winner for the third time, earning Gold honors for its corporate website, www.SolsticeBenefits.com. Solstice was honored in prior years for its member newsletters and educational health videos.

Hermes Creative Awards honor creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media, and recognize outstanding work in the industry while promoting the philanthropic nature of marketing and communication professionals.

"As a dental insurer, we’re passionate about oral health, but we’re also focused on member education and communication,” said Solstice Chief Operating Officer Carlos Ferrera. “We’re proud to be recognized again for our push to empower our members through knowledge.”

There were over 6,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and 15 other countries in the Hermes Creative Awards 2016 competition. Entries came from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers.

Solstice was recently ranked the No. 16 insurance company and No. 1,408 overall on Inc. magazine’s 35th annual Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.

Founded in 1998, Solstice provides dental, vision and other coverage to more than 700,000 members nationally, and has built the current No. 1 largest DHMO/EPO provider networks in both Florida and New York, as ranked by NetMinder. In 2013, Solstice created an innovative private health exchange—the Solstice Marketplace. The award-winning platform offers a customizable portal for business management, as well as group enrollment.
