Carlos Ferrera

Carlos Ferrera joined Solstice as the Chief Operating Officer in 2005. He began his career with Cigna Dental & Vision in March 1988 serving various roles, including Director of Administrative Services, Director of Provider Relations and Vice President of Claims Administration responsible for claims process improvement, end-to-end quality improvement, client satisfaction, team coaching and front end mailroom.

Prior to joining Cigna, Carlos spent over 6 years in the United States Air Force protecting Command, Control and Communications systems. He has extensive healthcare, systems and sales background, which include his position as the Vice President of Operations and Systems with SafeGuard Health Enterprises.

Carlos has first-hand experience in developing solutions that maximize efficiencies, cost savings and increasing data quality.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Barry University and has also achieved a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
