Solstice Shimmers in "Denim and Diamonds" as a 2013 Deliver the Dream Sponsor

October 28, 2013 - Plantation, FL

Solstice Benefits, Inc., a South Florida-based insurance company dedicated to improving the lives of the members they serve, supported Deliver the Dream’s 10th Anniversary Denim & Diamonds Gala by being a sponsor for the event.

On Oct. 26, 2013, the tri-county’s top corporate and community leaders supported the organization’s signature fundraising event hosted at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort and Spa. Almost 400 guests attended, all committed to helping Deliver the Dream continue their mission to “help families heal one retreat at a time.” Deliver the Dream, one of the most unique programs of its kind, enables families facing serious illness or crisis, to regain their strength, reconnect with each other, get support from others going through similar situations and become more educated about the illness or crisis they are experiencing.

“We are excited to be sponsoring this event for the third year. How humbling to be part of an organization focused on spreading love and hope to families experiencing such tremendous crisis. At Solstice, we are all about improving people’s lives and so it’s a privilege to partner with an organization that’s doing the same for families,” said Solstice Chief Operating Officer Carlos Ferrera.

A crisis or serious illness impacts the entire family; family members bear the physical and emotional weight of caring for their loved ones or surviving them. A retreat program that provides a respite for these everyday heroes is a welcome solution to a problem anyone could face at anytime. Solstice is among the many sponsors who support the work of this organization in healing families and creating awareness about the various issues they face.
