Solstice Benefits Lit up the Night Sky at Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk

Solstice Benefits, Inc., a Florida-based dental, vision and life insurance carrier, was a sponsor of and a participant in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk this past Saturday. Between sponsorship and fundraising, the company brought in over $13,000 for the organization. Event participants who visited Solstice’s tent had the opportunity to fill out get well cards for cancer and leukemia patients. 

The Light the Night Walk is The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's nationwide evening walk. Walkers carry illuminated balloons to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by cancer. Funds raised support the organization’s mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

 “Solstice employees joined together Saturday night to light up the sky in support of those affected by cancer. We are dedicated to giving back to the community and participating in events that have personal meaning to our company,” said Solstice COO Carlos Ferrera. “It was inspiring to see the lights and know they were illuminated for such an important cause.”
