For the fifth consecutive year, Solstice Benefits, Inc. (Solstice) employees held a Thanksgiving food drive in partnership with Feeding South Florida, a hunger relief organization serving the food insecure and homeless populations in Broward, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach and Monroe counties.
In addition to Thanksgiving-specific items, Solstice employees collected peanut butter, cereal, pasta and canned items, such as soups, fruit and vegetables which can be offered year-round.
“We’re proud to support Feeding South Florida’s mission of feeding
those in need in our community. We recognize that continuing efforts are
needed to lessen the widespread problem of hunger in our community and
look forward to continuing to support this very worthwhile
organization,” Solstice chief operating officer Carlos Ferrera said. “Our Solstice family has much to be thankful for, and it’s important for us to help those less fortunate.”
