Solstice Benefits, Inc. Wins Three Hermes Creative Awards
May 23, 2017
PLANTATION, Fla., May 23, 2017 - Dental and vision insurer Solstice Benefits, Inc. (Solstice) was named a Hermes Creative Award winner for the fourth time, earning Platinum honors for a visual story aimed at insurance brokers, Gold honors for its blog marketing strategy and an Honorable Mention for a consumer infographic on selecting the right toothpaste. The award-winning pieces highlight Solstice’s ongoing commitment to health literacy, consumer value and education.
Solstice focuses on the value of clear, concise marketing communications in the health care industry. With studies showing that not only are large numbers of U.S. consumers unable to define core insurance terms, but also a great number do not understand their own insurance benefits, Solstice focuses on building greater consumer understanding and engagement, which leads to higher participation and utilization of insurance benefits.
Solstice was honored with Hermes Creative Awards in prior years for its member newsletters, educational health videos and corporate website.
“We believe in creating marketing communications that serve our plan members, enabling them to live healthier, happier lives,” said Alissa Gavrilescu, Solstice’s Director of Marketing. “We are proud to be recognized for our work in this space, and earning these awards with our small, but mighty, team is even more rewarding.”
Solstice provides dental and vision insurance coverage to more than 700,000 members nationally, and has built the current No. 1 largest Open Access DHMO provider network in Florida and New York. In 2013, Solstice created an award-winning broker exchange and benefits administration platform — the Solstice Marketplace. In 2016, Solstice was ranked the No. 16 insurance company on Inc. magazine’s fastest-growing private companies list.
