Solstice Launches Wellness Program, Rewards Smart Health Choices

Solstice Benefits, Inc. has launched an innovative, cutting-edge wellness program, Solstice Synergy, for employer groups. Solstice Synergy enables individuals to have the expertise of a certified personal trainer and nutritionist at the click of a mouse. This interactive and personalized online wellness program is accessible via computer and smartphone. Solstice Synergy increases employee engagement and participation in wellness programs by allowing participants to earn points for making healthy choices in the areas of diet, exercise, and overall wellness. These points can be redeemed for rewards such as digital cameras, hotel stays, sports equipment, movie tickets and more.

With Solstice Synergy, participants start off by creating a Health Risk Assessment (HRA), which helps them identify areas for improvement and create a personal wellness plan. Included in this comprehensive plan is the ability to create customized menus with a specified calorie range and dietary restrictions such as diabetic, gluten-free, heart healthy, vegan and vegetarian. Other features allow members to:

• Log and track daily calorie intake
• Find healthy recipes
• Track fruit and vegetable intake
• Track water consumption
• Utilize an exercise planner
• Track incentive points earned
• Learn about various health topics
