Solstice Wins MarCom Awards for Excellence in Marketing and Communication

(Solstice) was among the winners of the 2017 MarCom Awards, an international competition for marketing and communication professionals. Winners were announced through November 1st, allowing the judges to complete their review of over 6,000 entries. Consumer confusion plagues the healthcare insurance industry. According to the American Dental Association, 19 percent of U.S. adults have difficulty understanding health information. Other research shows that only a third of employees understand their benefits very well. Consumers are turning to social media for answers and over 40 percent say that the health information they find on social media influences their healthcare decisions. Plus, those that are 18 through 24 years old are likely to use social media for health related discussions.
